This is a retreat very much about the value of depression, rather than what it diminishes or takes away. We will look at depression as a condition of the soul that can be used creatively and as a container for meaning, purpose and value in our lives. We will also explore the themes of The Dark Night of the Soul and the work of St. John of the Cross and what this means for us on a personal and collective level. This is for anyone who suffers from depression themselves, or works with people who are depressed and wants to bring this into a spiritual framework. In a nutshell this is about what depression can give, rather than what it takes away. Please bring crayons and paper.
Depression as a Spiritual Journey has been chosen to be in the Booksellers Guide out of the thousands of MBS titles that come out each year. Amazon USA has chosen Stephanie's book to promote out of O book titles.
